Notices & policies

Clear expectations make for a safe therapeutic relationship. Please review the following practice policies.

Fees & sliding scale

At Anchored Counseling Services, LLC, we believe that mental health care should be accessible and not limited by financial barriers. Our sliding scale option is designed to help bridge the gap between needing support and being able to consistently engage in therapy.

We are committed to making ongoing care possible so that "I can't afford counseling" becomes "I can see my therapist regularly and stay supported."

Standard therapy sessions are 50–55 minutes in length, with a standard fee of $120 per session. In recognition that financial circumstances vary, a reduced fee may be available through a sliding scale based on household income and family size. Any adjusted fee is determined collaboratively and confirmed in writing prior to the intake process.

All session fees are due at the time of service and will be automatically charged on the morning of your scheduled appointment using the payment method on file in your client portal. Clients will be charged the agreed-upon session rate or insurance copay, as applicable.

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify your therapist as soon as possible. If you do not notify your therapist at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time, or if you do not keep an appointment, there will be a $75.00 no-show fee. You will be asked to keep a credit/debit card on file and the fee will be charged to your card.

You will not be scheduled for further appointments after you miss two appointments without canceling 24 hours before the appointment.
